Zedoary Root

Zedoary root (Kaempferia spp) is a stimulant herb with a camphoraceous aroma, it has antibacterial property and improves digestion as well.

Zedoary is an annual, rhizomate, aromatic tall herb. The edible root of Zedoary has a white interior and a fragrance reminiscent of Camphor. The rhizomes contain essential oil whose major ingredients are pinene, cinole, camphor and so on.

After harvesting from the field the rhizomes are properly washed with water to remove soil particles, the cleaned rhizomes are cut into slices and are dried under sunlight. We use dust separator to remove dust from the product and are packed in new Gunny / PP bags according to our client's requirements and the bags are stitched with Machine.
